Our Journey

The ShopBack Group is Asia-Pacific’s leading shopping, rewards, and payments platform, serving over 60 million shoppers across 13 markets. In 2025, the Group continued its global growth with its expansion into North America. Driven by the vision to make every day more rewarding, ShopBack is dedicated to saving members money and time, and delivering delight every day. The platform also enables merchants and brands to engage with their members in a cost-effective manner. Founded in 2014, ShopBack now powers over US$5.5 billion in annual sales for over 20,000 online and in-store partners, and has rewarded shoppers with more than US$800 million (over S$1 billion) in Cashback to date. Through its innovative offerings, ShopBack continues to create value for both members and merchants. Notably, its payment solution, ShopBack Pay, offers members a convenient and rewarding payment option at checkout.
We are looking for a strong, commercially driven Business Development Manager to lead the expansion of ShopBack’s E-Receipt O2O solution in Taiwan. This role focuses on identifying key F&B, Retail, Lifestyle, and FMCG partners and driving adoption of E-Receipt as a core performance channel for offline conversions.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping Taiwan’s offline growth strategy — partnering with merchants, educating the market, and building a scalable O2O revenue engine.

Your Adventure Ahead

  • Identify, pitch, and close strategic merchant partners (F&B, Retail, FMCG, Lifestyle, Services) to adopt ShopBack’s E-Receipt solution.
  • Develop market insights, map merchant pain points, and package E-Receipt as a clear performance solution.
  • Own full sales cycle: sourcing, pitching, negotiation, contract, onboarding handover.
  • Build and maintain strong C-level/decision-maker relationships.
  • Work closely with AM and Operations teams to ensure merchants achieve measurable O2O performance uplift.
  • Support E-Receipt onboarding flow: merchant education, activation, and optimization of performance.
  • Review data reports with merchants and translate insights into actions to drive higher ROAS and GMV.
  • Partner with Product, Marketing, Finance, and Data teams to enhance E-Receipt features and refine O2O value propositions.
  • Represent Taiwan’s merchant needs and provide feedback loops to improve long-term product adoption.

Essentials to Succeed

  • 3+ years of experience in Business Development or Partnership Development roles, with a track record of successfully growing and managing long-term partnerships.
  • Experience in BD/Sales from F&B / FMCG / Retail / O2O / Agency sectors preferred.
  • Analytical mindset and commercial acumen to leverage data and market insights to drive partnership strategies and decision-making.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts and insights to clients.
  • Strong strategic thinking and ability to take ownership of partnership initiatives, demonstrating a proactive and results-driven approach.
  • Zero-to-one mindset.
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to work cross-functionally and build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in both Chinese and English, as this role will work extensively with our counterparts based in other markets.
  • Online commerce and media agency experience is a plus but not required.

About ShopBack

ShopBack started as a spark of inspiration one night in 2014 when Henry and Joel were brainstorming ideas in Henry’s car. That lightbulb moment — earning Cashback while shopping online — was just the beginning. Fueled by the countless possibilities, the team locked themselves in a hotel room for 24 hours to code the very first prototype. Their mission? To revolutionize shopping by helping advertisers market more cost-effectively, while making every purchase more rewarding for shoppers.

Today, ShopBack is the leading shopping, rewards, and payments platform in Asia-Pacific, empowering 50 million shoppers across 13 markets. With 20,000+ partners and over half a million transactions daily, we’re redefining the way the world shops.
