Senior Business Development Executive – Florida

RLM Underground is a fast-growing infrastructure solutions provider specializing in fiber deployment, utility construction, and municipal partnerships. We’re expanding our footprint in Florida and seeking a seasoned Business Development professional to help us build strategic relationships and drive growth.

We’re looking for a Senior Business Development Executive with deep experience in the municipal space, fiber infrastructure, and utility work This individual will play a key role in identifying opportunities, cultivating partnerships, and supporting operational strategy across Florida.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage relationships with municipal leaders, utility providers, and infrastructure partners
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in fiber deployment and underground utility work
• Support strategic planning and proposal development for projects in Vero Beach and the surrounding areas
• Collaborate with internal teams to align business development with operational capabilities
• Represent RLM Underground at industry events, local government meetings, and networking forums

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in business development within the municipal, fiber, or utility sectors
• Strong network across Florida’s public and private infrastructure landscape
• Familiarity with permitting, compliance, and public-private partnership models
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to travel within Florida as needed

Preferred:

• Experience working directly with city or county governments in Florida
• Knowledge of underground construction, fiber optics, or utility coordination
• Based in or near Vero Beach, FL
