We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Business Data Analyst to join our Group Data and AI Office (GDAIO) Team at Royal London.This Senior Business Data Analyst positionis aimed at candidates who bring significant experience from financial services or similarly complex regulated environments, and who can combine strong data analysis capability with confident stakeholder engagement,delivery focus and commercial judgement
The Senior Business Data Analyst will play a key role in shaping high-quality analysis across complex data landscapes. You will support value-chain mapping of data, interpret system performance metrics, agile team performance data and financial data, and helpprovide check and challenge on GDAIO involvement in key initiatives based on business value and return on investment.The role is particularly suited to someone who understands the realities of delivering data change in a financial services setting, including regulatory expectations, legacy platforms, operational risk and the need for clear, evidence-based recommendations
Working closely with Data Engineering teams, Business SMEs, Business Sponsors and Senior Leadership, the Senior Business Data Analyst will analyse complex data ecosystems, translate findings into practical recommendations with senior data leaders, and support project teams to aligndelivery with organisational objectives. This role combines hands-on analysis with collaborative leadership, particularly during complex discovery, impact assessment, migration, data sourcing or project definition phases.
