035643 Senior Business Continuity Analyst (Open)

Job Description:

The Senior Business Continuity Analyst develops and implements programs, policies, and procedures that protect the organization’s systems, information, and critical business operations. This role partners with business stakeholders to understand departmental needs, identify risks, support continuity planning, and ensure appropriate safeguards are in place against unauthorized access, modification, disruption, or destruction. The position also monitors compliance and drives continuous improvement across the organization.

Business Continuity Management:

  • Support the execution and continuous improvement of the global Business Continuity Management (BCM) program.
  • Serve as a key operational point of contact for day-to-day BCM activities and the BCM platform, including user support, access management, data maintenance, reporting, dashboards, and minor configurations.
  • Support and contribute to the annual Business Impact Analysis (BIA) program, including stakeholder engagement, completion tracking, follow-up, and identification of outstanding items.
  • Support the development, review, and maintenance of Business Continuity Plans (BCPs), Disaster Recovery Plans (DRPs), and related resilience documentation.
  • Analyze BCM platform data to identify gaps, inconsistencies, missing dependencies, and opportunities to improve data quality and program readiness.
  • Partner with Infrastructure, Application, and Asset Management teams to validate and reconcile application, technology, asset, and dependency information.
  • Develop and maintain BCM metrics, KPIs, dashboards, and management reports to support program governance and decision-making.
  • Monitor action items, remediation activities, plan reviews, and other program deliverables.
  • Coordinate BCM platform support requests and work with the platform vendor and internal teams on issues, integrations, and data-related activities.

Disaster Recovery Support:

  • Support Disaster Recovery tests, tabletop exercises, workshops, and other resilience activities through documentation, action tracking, evidence collection, and follow-up.
  • Support After Action Reviews (AARs) and track improvement opportunities and remediation actions.
  • Assist with DR documentation and program activities in coordination with Infrastructure, Application, Security, and other technology teams.
  • Support additional Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery activities as required.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Knowledge of Business Continuity Management, Operational Resilience, Disaster Recovery, Risk Management, or related disciplines.
  • Working knowledge of Business Impact Analysis (BIA), Business Continuity Planning, and resilience concepts.
  • Experience working with BCM, GRC, Risk, Resilience, or similar enterprise platforms.
  • Experience with Fusion Risk Management or a similar BCM platform is preferred.
  • Ability to analyze program data, identify gaps and inconsistencies, and coordinate validation across multiple teams.
  • Ability to develop and maintain reports, dashboards, metrics, and KPIs.
  • Ability to organize and track multiple activities, action items, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with business and technology teams in a global environment.
  • Intermediate English proficiency, including the ability to participate in meetings and communicate with global stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a global environment across different functions and regions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education or professional experience in Business Continuity, Risk Management, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience supporting Business Continuity, Operational Resilience, Disaster Recovery, Risk Management, or related programs.
  • Experience working with enterprise systems or platforms used to manage business continuity, risk, resilience, or related processes.
  • Strong organizational skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment while managing deadlines and multiple priorities.
  • Intermediate English communication skills required for interaction with global stakeholders.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Location: Brazil or Hungary
  • Work Model: Remote, with the ability to work from a Greif location when required based on business needs.
  • Scope: Global
  • Working Hours: Primarily aligned with local business hours, with flexibility to participate in meetings with global teams.
  • Travel: Occasional domestic or international travel based on business needs.
  • Reporting To: Manager, IT Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity.
  • Position Type: Individual Contributor with no direct people management responsibilities.
