Senior Business Consultant – IBM Maximo EAM

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands
Start Date: 27 August 2026
Duration: 6 months
Experience: 4+ years

We are looking for a Senior Business Consultant with strong functional expertise in IBM Maximo EAM to support the implementation, optimization, and continuous improvement of enterprise asset management solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
  • Configure and optimize IBM Maximo EAM modules.
  • Conduct functional workshops with business stakeholders.
  • Support full-cycle Maximo implementations and upgrades.
  • Provide post-implementation functional support and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with technical teams on integrations with other enterprise systems.
  • Analyze business processes and recommend improvements based on industry best practices.
  • Support change management and business process optimization.
  • Contribute to testing activities, including functional and UFT testing.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in IBM Maximo functional consulting.
  • Deep understanding of IBM Maximo EAM modules and capabilities.
  • Experience with at least one full-cycle Maximo EAM implementation or upgrade
  • Strong experience in Maximo functional configuration and optimization.
  • Knowledge of business process management (BPM) and change management.
  • Experience with Unified Functional Testing (UFT) or comparable functional testing practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams.

Desirable Skills

  • IBM Certified Deployment Professional – Maximo EAM certification.
  • ITIL or Asset Management certification.
  • Experience in utilities, energy, or manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of cloud migration and data migration processes.
  • Experience integrating Maximo with other enterprise systems.
