What We Are Looking For

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Business Applications Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing business applications, particularly in financial and customs systems. You are capable of managing vendor relationships, conducting quarterly business reviews (QBRs), and efficiently escalating issues.

A problem-solver with excellent communication skills, you will be expected to drive improvements, ensure smooth application integration, and maintain high levels of service quality. Additionally, experience with cross-functional collaboration and Agile methodologies will be highly valued.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Take the lead in managing and improving core business applications such as WMS, TMS, Customs, and Finance Systems.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to understand business needs and translate them into scalable, sustainable solutions.
  • Design and optimize interfaces and integrations between systems, ensuring data flows securely and efficiently.
  • Handle incident resolution, escalations, and act as the key liaison with external vendors for issue follow-up and contract governance.
  • Support QBRs (Quarterly Business Reviews) with suppliers and ensure they deliver to SLA and performance expectations.
  • Ensure application development and change management follow Agile methodology and best practices.
  • Drive innovation by identifying opportunities for automation, improved user experience, and system reliability.

What You Bring:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business IT, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in application management and integration, preferably in the logistics domain.
  • Solid understanding of supply chain systems (WMS, TMS, Finance).
  • Technical knowledge of tools and platforms such as PL/SQL, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central AL, Power Platform, and Python is a big plus.
  • Experience working with vendors, including performance tracking, QBRs, and managing escalations.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum way of working.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills – able to bridge the gap between business and IT.
  • A proactive mindset, team spirit, and a drive to continuously improve.
