Your contribution!

Reporting to the Senior Manager of IT Solutions Delivery, you will be responsible for developing and managing the human resources modules of the Oracle Fusion ERP system. You will play a key role in translating business requirements into innovative business solutions and providing functional support to users. Your expertise will contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and the sharing of best practices within the organization.

Your day-to-day!

  • Understands and analyzes the needs and business data of internal clients, and transforms them into value-added business solutions using technology and IT systems. Anticipates risks and challenges, adheres to internal policies, and promotes the adoption of best practices and market innovations.
  • Oversees the deployment and implementation of functional changes (new features) delivered by software vendors, including impact analysis, testing, and the adaptation of business processes. Coordinates efforts with all departments using the software package as well as with external vendors.
  • Systems Development Manager: evaluates, prioritizes, and tracks change requests. Manages solution development cycles by creating project plans, timelines, and cost estimates, while defining business specifications in line with company priorities and a growing environment.
  • Leads system development phases, including the analysis, design, documentation, and implementation of IT solutions and digitization projects. Ensures the involvement of all relevant teams and maintains an overview of the solutions delivered.
  • Proposes and promotes best practices in business and business intelligence, identifies value-added solutions, and ensures their feasibility. Leads their implementation among stakeholders across the organization.
  • Identifies opportunities to optimize processes and solutions and proposes continuous improvements aligned with business objectives.
  • Contributes to IT and business governance bodies by making recommendations based on the analysis of needs, data, and business value.
  • Supports users during times of change and assists them in developing and implementing training plans.
  • Maintains system documentation related to security and access management in accordance with regulatory and organizational requirements.

Your skills, our requirements!

  • 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in IT development or a similar role.
  • Experience with systems and applications integrated into the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system—specifically in Human Resources, Procurement, or Accounting.
  • Oracle Fusion certification (an asset).

  • Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (Oracle Fusion ERP – HR modules).
  • Understanding of business processes.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, and a strong sense of priorities.
  • Results-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to streamline processes.
  • Customer-focused with experience in business and functional analysis, gathering requirements, and translating them into system solutions.
  • Experience with ERP implementation projects and/or project management—experience with both traditional and agile approaches is an asset.
  • Bilingualism (French and English, both spoken and written) required to ensure collaboration with various stakeholders outside Quebec on a recurring basis. Knowledge of Spanish, an asset.

  • The position is based at the company's head office in Longueuil, steps away from the Longueuil-Université de Sherbrooke metro station.
