Senior Business Analyst – Mobile Digital Transformation
We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to support the complete redesign of a large-scale mobile application. This role serves as the key link between business stakeholders, UX/UI teams, product owners, and development teams, ensuring that business requirements are translated into clear user journeys, functional specifications, and development-ready deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirements Management
- Gather, analyze, and challenge business and user requirements.
- Identify business objectives, pain points, and improvement opportunities.
- Prioritize requirements with Product Owners and Project Managers.
- Ensure traceability between business needs and delivered solutions.
User Journey & Functional Design
- Define and document end-to-end user journeys.
- Identify alternative flows, edge cases, error scenarios, offline scenarios, accessibility requirements, and real-time dependencies.
- Transform user journeys into features, screens, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Ensure complete coverage of critical business processes and user experiences.
UX/UI Collaboration
- Work closely with UX/UI designers to prepare functional inputs for design activities.
- Define screen inventories, screen mappings, wireflows, and functional behaviors.
- Document loading, error, empty-state, offline, and exceptional user scenarios.
- Ensure consistency between business requirements, user experience, and technical implementation.
Backlog & Delivery Management
- Create and maintain Epics, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria.
- Manage complex backlogs and dependencies.
- Support Agile refinement sessions and sprint planning.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and project teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Documentation & Governance
- Maintain functional documentation and knowledge repositories.
- Produce traceability matrices, functional mappings, and supporting documentation.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) preparation and execution.
- Ensure documentation consistency and governance standards.
Required Skills & Experience
- Extensive experience as a Business Analyst on digital and mobile application projects.
- Strong expertise in user journey mapping, functional analysis, and requirements management.
- Experience working on complex mobile application initiatives.
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Experience collaborating with UX/UI designers and product teams.
- Strong knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, Figma, Miro, Lucidchart, Draw.io, and collaboration platforms.
- Experience supporting QA, UAT, and test management activities.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

- Experience in transportation, mobility, or public-sector digital services.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted product delivery and business analysis practices.

- English: Professional working proficiency.
Location
- Brussels, Belgium.
- Hybrid working model with onsite presence required 2–3 days per week.
