Job Description
You will join our high‑performance team of Business Analysts and act as a senior member providing professional expertise, guidance, and leadership across business analysis activities. In this role, you will work extensively on Microsoft‑based enterprise solutions, including case management systems and Power Platform applications. You will play a key role in shaping end‑to‑end technical requirements, using proven frameworks, tools, and project approaches to ensure successful, on‑time, and on‑budget delivery of technology initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate multiple phases of technical workstreams within a project and/or several small to medium initiatives of moderate complexity.
- Lead requirements definition for Microsoft Cloud projects, including MS case management platforms, Power Apps, Power BI dashboards, and Power Platform–based workflow automation.
- Map end‑to‑end business processes and design solutions that drive process optimisation, user experience improvements, and alignment with enterprise architecture.
- Gather, analyse, and validate business requirements from diverse stakeholder groups, producing detailed business, functional, and non‑functional requirement specifications.
- Facilitate workshops and storyboarding sessions to shape user journeys, define system behaviour, and capture enterprise‑grade requirements.
- Own the user story lifecycle — creation, refinement, acceptance criteria, traceability, and strict stakeholder sign‑off — ensuring complete and accurate requirement coverage.
- Provide oversight and support to the technical team by applying standards, methodologies, and best practices centred on Microsoft solution delivery.
- Conduct needs analysis, process/data modelling, logical design, and related documentation, including work with relational databases.
- Identify, assess, and communicate project risks and mitigation strategies.
- Define and agree project approaches with stakeholders, creating realistic project plans covering quality, risk, and communication.
- Track progress against project schedules, proactively managing dependencies, risks, and stakeholder expectations.
- Support practice development by mentoring colleagues, delivering training, and building competency across business analysis and Microsoft solution delivery.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to support requirement traceability, backlog management, and release readiness activities.

- Team work and emotional intelligence
- Good self-management – continuous performance is both a goal and a mind-set
- Has an innovative approach – a bold thinker and doer, matching creativity with vigilance
- High value on openness and transparency
Experience
- Strong experience in Business Analysis methodologies, with hands‑on delivery experience on Microsoft enterprise software projects (e.g., MS case management systems, Power Apps, Power BI, Power Platform components).
- Demonstrated experience eliciting and documenting technical requirements for Microsoft‑focused design and build activities.
- Proven capability in managing user stories, ensuring strict governance around acceptance criteria, stakeholder sign‑off, and traceability.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps (or similar tools) for backlog management, sprint planning, and requirement tracking.
- Ability to ensure project quality by providing expert guidance, designing procedures, and validating deliverables.
- Experience applying problem‑solving methodologies to diagnose and resolve complex operational or technical issues.
