Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital is hiring a Senior Business Analyst for the Main Operating Room This is a full time, day shift position located in Charlottesville, VA. The position is On Site with offices near the Main Operating Room.
Hours are primarily from 7AM to 330PM but some flexibility is available for candidates needing a shift to an 8AM schedule start time.
This position is responsible for the implementation and support of quality initiatives within assigned areas. Provides subject matter expertise related to quality initiative implementation, reporting and analysis. Is a liaison between internal/external customers and Information Technology for business definition, scope, testing and implementation to ensure quality, efficiency, effectiveness, and customer knowledge to improve business practices.
The Senior Business Analyst for the Main OR at SMJH is responsible for EPIC reporting including OR statistics, Volumes, Case length and distribution to Senior Leadership. Audit of Perioperative documents including reconciliation of any discrepancies. Will trouble shoot Epic issues within the reporting system. Will maintain scheduling blocks, build surgical blocks and work within the block application.
Ideal candidates will have a Perioperative background within a main operating room.
Bachelor Degree required
No specific certification or licensure requirements
Registered nursing license preferred
3 years of Healthcare Experience Required
3 years of Analysis required
3 years of project management required or similar skillset
Perioperative background preferred
Registered nursing background in Operating Room preferred
Background in Epic Reporting required
Clinical Experience preferred
