Your role:

As Senior Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager, you act as a strategic advisor, providing insights into the key drivers of financial performance and proposing solutions and actions based on your analysis. You will be instrumental in driving FTE and workforce analysis and FX exposure analysis, as well as the sales reporting and quarterly planning cycles, ensuring high-quality insights for executive management. As a senior member of our Life Science FP&A Controlling team, you will work closely with HR and adjacent finance and accounting teams — collaboration that is central to succeeding in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively analyze and explain key movements in our financial statements, and play an active role in monthly and quarterly business reviews
  • Develop quantitative models to support ad-hoc analysis on our financial performance
  • Examine external and internal financial data to provide insights into drivers, trends, and the competitive environment, supporting decision-making for the Life Science Executive Team
  • Benchmark financial performance against internal and external data
  • Participate in the Life Science Financial Planning Process and drive presentations for Life Science Executive Team reporting

Who you are

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience in FP&A, treasury, or cash flow controlling, preferably in a large multinational organization
  • Expert in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting, with proficiency in planning tools (TM1/PAFE/SAC) and advanced Excel/PowerPoint skills
  • Self-driven and motivated, with an outstanding analytical mindset, strong business acumen, and the ability to assess the financial implications of strategic decisions
  • Fluent in business communication in English
