Senior Business Analyst

Mission Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support the analysis, optimization, and documentation of business processes within a highly secure public-sector environment. You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and IT teams, ensuring that business needs are accurately translated into functional requirements and process models.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Analyze, model, and optimize business processes and organizational workflows.
• 
  Facilitate workshops, interviews, and stakeholder meetings to gather requirements.
• 
  Produce high-quality business analysis deliverables, including process models, functional specifications, and business requirements.
• 
  Create and maintain BPMN and UML models to support solution design.
• 
  Collaborate with project managers, architects, and development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• 
  Ensure alignment between business objectives, governance frameworks, and IT solutions.
• 
  Support Agile project delivery by refining requirements, managing backlogs, and participating in project ceremonies.
• 
  Contribute to governance, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• 
  Use Jira for requirements tracking, documentation, and collaboration.

Required Profile

• 
  Minimum 10 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst.
• 
  Extensive experience with:
  • 
    Business Analysis and Business Modeling
  • 
    BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation)
  • 
    UML
  • 
    Agile methodologies
  • 
    IT Governance frameworks
  • 
    Jira
• 
  Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills.
• 
  Ability to translate complex business needs into clear and actionable requirements.
• 
  Experience working in highly regulated or security-sensitive environments is an asset.

Mandatory Requirements

• 
  Belgian nationality is required.
• 
  Possession of a Top Secret security clearance or willingness to obtain one.
• 
  Full on-site presence required in Brussels (no remote work possible).
• 
  Native Dutch or French speaker with good knowledge of the other national language and English.
