About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior IT Business Analyst to join our global technology team. This position will work with business units, supporting multiple assigned projects aimed at delivering IT solutions and services that meet company cost, quality, and strategic targets. The role will focus on gathering and analyzing work group data, defining current processes and requirements, researching best practices, and identifying and documenting process improvements and functional specifications.
Responsibilities:
Analyze, define, and document requirements and business processes
Develop systems specifications, process flows, and conversion strategies
Create technical and functional user documentation
Contribute to the development of new tools, processes, and solutions to meet desired product needs
Follow established business processes, protocols, and quality standards in the development and deployment of complex solutions
Gather business requirements and translate them into user stories/functional specifications
Identify and document process improvements and functional specifications based on research of best practices and analysis of work group data
Perform analysis on existing systems, identifying options for potential solutions and assessing both technical and business suitability
Collaborate with remote development teams, internal IT, and business stakeholders to ensure requirements are being met
Maintain automated test scripts
Requirements:
6+ years of IT Business Analyst experience
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience required
Previous experience working in an agile environment using recognized development methodologies (e.g., Agile, SCRUM, KANBAN)
Proficient in documenting As-Is and To-Be processes
Ability to maintain automated test scripts
Broad understanding of software development methodologies and SDLC
Experience using Agile, SCRUM, or KANBAN frameworks
Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization
Strong written communication skills including process documentation
Proven project management skills
Experience in business requirements gathering
Knowledge and prior use of UML modeling language
