Senior Business Analyst – Energy Sector

About the Role
In a rapidly evolving energy landscape, you will join a dynamic team driving innovation, regulatory adaptation, and digital transformation. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a central role in bridging business, data, and market operations, ensuring alignment across projects and stakeholders.
You will contribute to a diverse project portfolio focused on market coordination, data management, and transformation initiatives within the energy sector.
Your Responsibilities
Act as a Business Analyst across one or more strategic projects
Analyze and manage dependencies between projects in collaboration with other analysts
Facilitate workshops and discussions with process owners, experts, and stakeholders
Support change management and user adoption (training, communication, materials)
Provide expert input and support to project leaders and review deliverables
Ensure clear documentation of decisions, proposals, and working group outcomes
Maintain visibility over priorities and communicate transparently with stakeholders
Develop communication and training materials
Prepare and actively participate in internal and external working groups
Analyze new initiatives and change requests from both business and market perspectives
Define and support execution of end-to-end (E2E) test scenarios
Support migration and transition activities
Your Profile
Must-Have
Minimum 5 years' experience as a Business Analyst
Experience in the energy sector (min. 2 years)
Proven experience in Business Process Management (BPM)
Strong stakeholder management skills
Experience in change management (training, communication, adoption)
Experience in quality management and testing (acceptance/E2E)
Knowledge of MIG6 market processes
Excellent communication skills
Dutch proficiency at CEFR level C2
Nice to Have
Experience within the flex energy market
Additional stakeholder management experience in complex environments
