In this role, you'll:
• Lead the development of comprehensive business cases, including cost-benefit analysis, risk assessments, and resource planning, with a focus on transportation operations.
• Scope and define diverse business requirements and facilitate effective business solutions using innovative approaches
• Coordinating the development of specifications in collaboration with relevant specialists to ensure specific user requirements are communicated in technical terms for submission to project teams.
• Providing expert technical advice and guidance to business managers to assist with defining their specific requirements and keep the program management fully informed on current and projected operational requirements and emerging issues
• Modelling collegiate and collaborative behaviours to achieve the greater good for the community, celebrate a diverse workforce, create an environment where people can innovate and thrive, and support people’s wellbeing.
• Lead, develop/contribute and implement consistent and best practice across business analysis methodologies, disciplines, tools and processes
• Identify opportunities to mature the BA chapter and contribute to its success
• This is a temporary full-time position, for a period of up to 24 months.

About you
• Prior experience in business case development by undertaking current state assessment and defining the future state.
• Extensive and demonstrated experience analysing business needs across a complex portfolio of initiatives in a federated or multi-sourced environment.
• Extensive hands on experience in transport operations management or Operations Technology and systems
• Experience of leading a group of direct reports and their performance.
• Ability to interpret technical data to non-technical audience and vice versa.
• knowledge of IIBA framework, preferably certified
• Superior communication and presentation skills – highly regarded
• A team player who excels in collaborative environment.
