Job Purpose
The Business Analyst translates du Pay's commercial and product initiatives into clear, user-centric, technically feasible and compliant requirements The role bridges Commercial/P&L Owners, Product, Technology, Solution Architecture, UI/UX, Operations, Compliance, Risk, Customer Support, QA and external partners to deliver scalable fintech solutions and seamless customer journeys.
The role requires strong Business Analysis, Stakeholder Management and end-to-end delivery capability across Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid methodologies
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Delivery
- Elicit, analyze, prioritize, document and validate functional and non-functional requirements through workshops, interviews, discovery sessions and stakeholder discussions.
- Produce appropriate BA artefacts including BRD, FRD/FSD, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, business rules, RTM, process flows, data/reporting requirements and interface/integration requirements
- Perform As-Is/To-Be, gap analysis, impact analysis and process analysis
- Work across Agile/Scrum/Kanban, Waterfall and Hybrid environments, adapting documentation and governance to the delivery model.
- Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, requirements baselining/sign-off, traceability, change control, testing, UAT, release and implementation.
- Maintain end-to-end requirements traceability from business need through solution design, development, testing and implementation.
Stakeholder Management
- Manage stakeholders across Commercial, Product, Technology, Architecture, Engineering, UI/UX, Operations, Compliance, Risk, Fraud, Customer Support, QA and external partners/vendors
- Facilitate workshops, requirement walkthroughs, solution discussions, validation and approvals.
- Translate business needs into actionable technical requirements and technical constraints into clear business impacts.
- Manage conflicting requirements, priorities, expectations, dependencies, risks, scope changes and stakeholder sign-offs.
- Build consensus and influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.
Customer Journey, Process & Technology
- Define requirements for mobile/web channels, customer journeys, operational workflows, reporting and third-party integrations
- Collaborate with UI/UX on personas, usability, Figma/designs, validations, error handling, accessibility, business rules, happy paths and edge/exception scenarios.
- Design and maintain BPMN 2.0 end-to-end processes, including happy paths, exceptions, reversals and failure scenarios, within the Central Business Process Repository.
- Work with Solution Architects on APIs, microservices, platforms, integrations, security, performance and scalability requirements
- Analyze processor, payment scheme, network, partner and API documentation and convert it into business-ready requirements and process flows.
FinTech, Payments & Compliance
- Define requirements covering wallets, ledgers, balances, transaction lifecycles, physical/virtual card issuance, card processing, four-party card model, payments, reversals, refunds, reconciliation and disputes
- Support customer lifecycle journeys including onboarding, KYC/KYC refresh, limits, account servicing and customer support
- Incorporate CBUAE/SVF, AML/CFT, Consumer Protection, Data Localization, Fraud, Dispute Management, PCI-DSS, security and data protection requirements in collaboration with Compliance.
- Define data/reporting requirements for commercial dashboards, operational monitoring, reconciliation, management reporting and audit
- Support UAT, defect clarification, requirement validation and business sign-off.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years' Business Analyst experience, preferably within FinTech, Payments, Digital Banking, Wallets, Neobanking or regulated financial services
- Experience across Agile, Waterfall and/or Hybrid delivery methodologies
- Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, negotiation and influencing capability.
- Experience with wallets, card issuing, payment processing and regulated fintech platforms
- UAE financial services / CBUAE regulatory exposure preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Engineering, Business or related discipline
- CBAP, CCBA, CSPO/PSPO, Agile/Scrum, PMP, BPMN, ISO 27001 or PCI-DSS exposure/certification is advantageous.

Strong capability in requirements elicitation and lifecycle management, stakeholder management, BRD/FRD/FSD, user stories, acceptance criteria, RTM, BPMN 2.0, As-Is/To-Be, gap/impact analysis, customer journey mapping, process modelling, UAT, change control, APIs, microservices, integrations and solution architecture concepts
Hands-on exposure to Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Visio, Lucidchart, Miro, PlantUML, Mermaid and Figma or equivalent tools
