Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to play a critical role in supporting the commercial performance, measurement, and strategic growth of the Cyber & Data Resilience (CDR) business. This role is responsible for ensuring high data integrity, producing trusted reporting, and delivering insightful analysis that informs leadership decisions across sales performance, pipeline health, and growth initiatives.

This is a senior individualcontributor role based in Bangalore, India suited for an analyst with 5+ years of experience who can operate with a high degree of autonomy, exercise sound judgment, and partner effectively with Operations, Sales, Finance, and Commercial Office leadership.

Day to day responsibilities

Salesforce Data Integrity & Commercial Governance

  • Review and validate Salesforce opportunity records to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency (e.g., required fields, stage hygiene, attribution fields).
  • Proactively monitor data quality, including required fields, stage progression, attribution fields, and consistency with commercial definitions.
  • Identify recurring data issues or process gaps and partner with Sales Ops and the Commercial Office to drive corrective actions and improvements.
  • Support the adoption of standardized data definitions and governance practices to ensure reporting consistency and credibility.

Reporting & Performance Measurement

  • Own the preparation and maintenance of core CDR sales and pipeline reporting, supporting weekly, monthly, and quarterly leadership cadences.
  • Build and refine reports and dashboards using Salesforce, Excel, and BI tools, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and usability.
  • Ensure reported metrics are wellunderstood, reconciled, and accompanied by clear explanatory commentary.

Insights & Strategic Analysis

  • Analyze sales and pipeline data to surface trends, risks, and opportunities across regions, service offerings, and sales motions.
  • Translate data into actionable insights for leadership, focusing on implications for growth, execution, and decisionmaking.
  • Support ad hoc analysis requests from Sales leadership, Finance, and Commercial Office teams.

Leadership & Commercial Office Support

  • Contribute analysis and materials for CDR leadership reviews and executivelevel reporting.
  • Partner closely with the Commercial Office to support the measurement and tracking of strategic growth initiatives.
  • Act as a trusted analytical partner, capable of explaining results, assumptions, and limitations to senior stakeholders.
  • Document assumptions, logic, and data sources to support transparency and repeatability.

Essential traits

  • Strong handson experience with Salesforce, including opportunity data, reporting, and data validation.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (complex formulas, pivots, data analysis).
  • Demonstrated experience supporting leadershiplevel or executive reporting.
  • Strong attention to detail with a clear sense of ownership, accountability, and data integrity.
  • Familiarity with commercial KPIs such as pipeline coverage, win rate, deal size, sales cycle, and forecast inputs.

Prerequisites

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related analytical discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in a Sales Analyst, Sales Operations Analyst, Commercial Analyst, or similar role.
  • Experience using Power BI or similar visualization tools.
  • Background supporting professional services, consulting, or B2B sales organizations.
  • Experience working with global stakeholders across time zones.
