Create your best future and join Westpac as a Senior Business Analyst, Customer Origination and Servicing.
This role will play a crucial part of the UNITE team. UNITE is our business-led, tech-enabled transformation, and a key priority for the Group. UNITE is about delivering 'one best way' to make our processes, systems and tech simpler so we can deliver a better experience for our customers and make things easier for our people.
What’s the role?
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will partner closely with business stakeholders and program leadership to support the seamless migration of products, processes, and data from legacy systems to a new core banking platform. You will bridge business needs and technical solutions, ensuring the migration delivers operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and an improved customer experience across impacted portfolios.
Additionally, you'll elicit, document, and validate detailed business requirements relating to customer data, product portfolios, and end‑to‑end workflows. You will map current‑state (AS‑IS) processes and design future‑state (TO‑BE) processes aligned with the target platform, while proactively identifying gaps, dependencies, and potential risks within migration plans.
You will act as a key liaison between business and technology teams, ensuring alignment on requirements and delivery outcomes. You will also support user acceptance testing, data validation cycles, and defect triage to ensure solutions are fit for purpose and ready for successful deployment.
