The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a Senior Business Analyst in support of the Enterprise Information Technology as a Service (EITaaS) contract with the Department of the Air Force. The EITaaS program supports our customer to provide a common set of required EIT services across 187 bases to implement a consistent, high-quality experience for users across all mission environments and enable USAF to transition focus from network operations to mission operations. CACI is leading the way in transforming IT services from an in-house, base-centric delivery model to an advanced enterprise service delivery model.

This role is hybrid: Chantilly, VA 3+ Days, Home 1-2 Days

Responsibilities:

In this role you will:

  • Coordinate with the Government to validate the required CI attributes and the corresponding authoritative sources that should be included within the Configuration Management Database (CMDB). The expectation is that these requirements largely align to information contained within the Air Force Information Network (AFIN) Attribute Catalog and the IT Asset Management Lifecycle and Data Model. The Business Analyst will coordinate with the Government to ensure that data added to the CMDB is in compliance with Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and other applicable standards.
  • Derive requirements and design integrations between authoritative sources and Axonius. The business analyst will memorialize the integration design within an Interface Control Document (ICD) and coordinate with the owners of the authoritative sources to establish Memoranda of Understanding or Agreement (MOU/MOA). The integrations shall be designed to maximize automation while accounting for technical and cybersecurity limitations of the sources. Integration mechanisms may include, but are not limited to web services, direct connection, file transfer and import, etc. The integrations are to execute on set schedules or response to defined trigger events.
  • Develop training materials for owners of authoritative systems, based on the ICD and MOU/MOA to coordinate changes in their system which may impact CMDB integrations and/or data.
  • Derive requirements for ServiceNow reports & dashboards that allow for measurement and tracking of the completeness and recency of CI attribute data and CI-to-CI relationships.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • DoD Secret Clearance.
  • 12+ Years experience. Relevant experience (a Bachelor’s Degree in applicable field may be substituted for 5 years’ experience)
  • Experience with System Administration
  • Experience with IT Asset Management (ITAM)
  • Excellent verbal and written commuincation skills
  • Experience developing business processes, capability needs, business requirements, and business information models
  • Effective communicator at all levels, both written and verbal
  • Experience developing business processes, capability needs, business requirements, and business information models.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into user stories, use cases and technical requirements.
  • Experience with functional decomposition of large business needs into multiple layers of requirements/user stories.
  • Experience conducting interviews with stakeholders to gather pertinent information.
  • Experience analyzing data and data relationships across an organization’s business areas.
  • Working knowledge of all elements of the software development life cycle, including planning, development, requirements management, CM, quality assurance, and release management.
  • Experience in estimating techniques.
  • Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong skills with MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Project, Visio) and SharePoint
  • Must have ServiceNow w/CMDB experience supporting Asset Management

  • IT Operations Management (ITOM) experience
  • An active DoD Top Secret or higher clearance
  • Software development background
  • Certified Business Analysis Professional
  • Agile or Scrum Master Certification
  • Certified Product Owner
  • Knowledge and experience with the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK)
  • Experience with ServiceNow or similar service desk solution
  • Acts independently to expose and resolve problems
  • Experience working in the Department of Defense
  • Experience with DoD/DAF Cyber Security

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$103,800 - $218,100
