The Project and the Role Description

At Nexer Czech Republic, we are currently looking for an experienced Senior Business Consultant to join an international team delivering business-critical IT solutions for global logistics and freight-forwarding operations.

As a Senior Business Consultant, you will play a key role in gathering, analyzing, consolidating, and transforming business requirements into clear requirements, user stories, and epics for development teams. You will work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, architects, and development teams to ensure successful delivery of software projects using both Agile (Scrum) and Waterfall methodologies.

In addition, you will help shape best practices in requirements management, mentor junior colleagues, and drive continuous improvement across projects.

Tasks

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Translate business needs into user stories, requirements, and epics.
• Support project initiation activities, including effort estimation and solution definition.
• Facilitate workshops, requirement clarification sessions, and stakeholder meetings.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Architects, Developers, and business stakeholders.
• Own and maintain requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage and maintain documentation in Jira and Confluence.
• Monitor scope changes and assess their impact on project delivery.
• Support risk, dependency, and issue management.
• Contribute to data model design and solution definition.
• Support UX/UI discussions and prepare low-fidelity wireframes when required.
• Promote efficient use of AI tools and agents in day-to-day work.
• Coach and mentor junior consultants.
• Contribute to internal trainings and consulting best practices.

Required Skills

• Based in Czechia
• Advanced spoken and written EN communications skills (level B2 (Upper-Intermediate)/C1 (Advanced))
• University degree in any field (preferred is computer science or business administration)
• Strong experience with MS Office usage (especially DOC, XLS, PPT, MPP)
• Practical experience & knowledge of Agile project management (SCRUM method)
• Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language
• Strong negotiating skills & emotional intelligence
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Ability to understand and cooperate on UX/UI; ability to prepare at minimum low fidelity wireframes for parts of UI.
• Skills to use AI tools and agents to work in a more efficient way

Assignment Details

• Employment type: employment contract
• 100% allocation
• Remote work with occasional travel as required
• Location: Czechia
• Salary: 70-80.000 Kč/month
