We are seeking an experienced Sr. Business Analyst, Data & Analytics to join our team, reporting to the Senior Product Manager, Data & Analytics. The ideal candidate will be a senior business analyst with deep experience in data and analytics platforms, strong product ownership exposure, and an AI-native mindset. This role will help define business requirements, validate data products, contribute directly to QA for reports and datasets, and identify opportunities to use AI, automation, and analytics to improve business outcomes. Proficiency in Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Power BI, Copilot, Azure DevOps, and SSMS is highly desirable, along with knowledge of ERP and CRM source systems, particularly Dynamics F&O and Salesforce.

The candidate will need to exemplify agile principles for our data and analytics development team. The position has a broad range of cross-departmental responsibilities. The role combines strategic and tactical thinking within agile software engineering methodologies and practices, with an intense focus on delivering outcomes every sprint cycle. You will work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into features and user stories that can be efficiently executed by the development team.

What We Are Looking For

• 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably with a proven track record in a Product Owner role, driving scope, ownership, opportunity prioritization, and stakeholder influence.
• Demonstrated AI fluency, including the ability to leverage generative AI, Copilot technologies, and intelligent automation to improve business analysis, requirements management, QA, testing, and decision support.
• Proficient in SQL, Power BI, and moderate-level database management, with experience using AI/ML concepts, Copilot, and automation tools to improve analytics delivery, testing, and stakeholder decision-making.
• Strong understanding of data governance practices, promoting continuous improvement of source data, and ensuring datasets are AI-ready.
• Exceptional analytical capabilities, with a focus on problem framing, requirement interpretation, and developing strategic action plans that deliver effective outcomes, including AI-driven solutions.
• Knowledge of Agile principles and practices, with proven experience writing features and user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and leading sprint planning and backlog refinement.
• Experience validating enterprise reporting solutions, datasets, semantic models, KPIs, and business logic, with a strong focus on data accuracy, reconciliation, UAT, and stakeholder acceptance.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, highly accurate results within strict timelines.
• Comfortable leading initiatives in fast-paced, data-centric, and complex environments, integrating AI and automation in daily processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Experience in industries such as SaaS, hospitality, manufacturing, retail, or finance where enterprise systems play a critical role

Unleash your potential: What you will be doing and owning:

• Lead stakeholder engagements to define business strategies, gather high-level requirements, and translate them into actionable insights, technical specifications, and process flows.
• Champion an AI-native approach to business analysis by using AI-enabled tools to improve requirements gathering, documentation, testing, analysis, stakeholder engagement, and delivery speed.
• Identify practical AI, automation, and advanced analytics use cases, translating them into actionable features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and measurable business outcomes.
• Act as the primary triage agent for the data ticket queue, managing assignments through Azure DevOps.
• Serve as a primary contributor to quality assurance for data products, including reports, dashboards, datasets, semantic models, KPIs, calculations, data transformations, and integrations.
• Validate business requirements against delivered analytics solutions, ensuring data accuracy, metric consistency, usability, completeness, and alignment to business intent before release.
• Partner with engineers to oversee the successful delivery of complex projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, document, and implement data-driven improvements.
• Partner with engineers to design, validate, test, and continuously improve Power BI reports, dashboards, semantic models, and datasets, ensuring trusted, accurate, and actionable business insights.
• Leverage knowledge of ERP and CRM data to conduct in-depth data analysis, identify opportunities, and drive process optimizations.
• Identify and contribute to data governance initiatives championing source data improvements.
• Serve as Scrum Master facilitating daily stand-ups, refinements, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize features, enhancements, and data initiatives that support strategic objectives.
