We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Business Analyst.

Principal responsibilities

  • Lead business analysis across complex Payments and FX initiatives, from initial discovery through implementation and post-launch review.
  • Analyse end-to-end customer journeys, business processes and system flows covering domestic, international, cross-border and real-time payments, including FX conversion.
  • Elicit, challenge and prioritise business requirements, and translate them into clear processes, user stories, acceptance criteria and traceable delivery outcomes.
  • Facilitate workshops and align stakeholders across Business, Product, Technology, Operations, Risk and Compliance in different markets and locations.
  • Identify dependencies, risks, control requirements and delivery blockers, and drive timely decisions and resolution.
  • Support programme planning, backlog refinement, testing, implementation readiness and continuous improvement.
  • Provide strong functional and people leadership, including coaching Business Analysts, reviewing analysis quality, sharing domain knowledge and building an open and accountable team culture.
  • Represent the team in senior stakeholder and governance discussions, presenting clear analysis, options and recommendations.

Requirements

  • Strong and recent hands-on experience in Payments and FX, with a solid understanding of end-to-end payment and foreign-exchange processes.
  • Significant experience as a Senior Business Analyst within banking or financial services, delivering large and complex transformation initiatives.
  • Good knowledge of domestic, international, cross-border and real-time payment journeys, including payment processing, clearing, settlement, controls and exception handling.
  • A demonstrated leadership record, with clear examples of leading teams or workstreams, coaching others, resolving complex issues and taking ownership of delivery outcomes.
  • Strong stakeholder-management and influencing skills, including the ability to work confidently with senior stakeholders and manage competing priorities.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to bring structure and clarity to ambiguous situations.
  • High emotional intelligence, cultural awareness and the ability to build trusted relationships across teams and locations.
  • Proactive mindset, strong learning agility and willingness to challenge constructively.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
