About the role:

As a Senior Business Analyst within our Global Applications Team, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting and evolving a portfolio of internally developed applications used by various Colliers service lines globally. This position requires a strong understanding of Agile methodology, including the ability to work effectively within backlog refinement, sprint planning, testing, and release cycles.

A core expectation of the role is to quickly learn complex business processes and systems, work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams, triage and analyze production issues, write clear and testable requirements, and help drive high-quality delivery across multiple concurrent initiatives. This is an opportunity to leverage your expertise to help us lead our industry into the future.

  • Gather and prioritize business needs, create clear and testable user stories, and manage requirements through backlog refinement, sprint planning, testing, and release cycles.
  • Review, triage, and investigate support tickets and user-reported defects, coordinating resolution with business users, developers, QA, and DevOps teams.
  • Facilitate discovery sessions, requirements workshops, defect triage discussions, backlog reviews, and sprint planning while supporting product roadmap updates.
  • Coordinate UAT plans and activities, prepare release notes, address post-implementation issues, and contribute to change management, end-user training, KPI measurement, and user adoption.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 8 to 10 or more years of experience in business analysis, ideally supporting complex applications and multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills and the ability to work independently with business and technical stakeholders; CBAP or an equivalent certification is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodology, requirements gathering, user stories, backlog refinement, sprint planning, testing, UAT, and release cycles.
  • A self-starter and fast learner with the ability to troubleshoot, recommend process improvements, take ownership, and present complex information clearly.
  • Commercial Real Estate experience / background is preferred
