Senior Business Analyst
The Revenue Operations & Enablement organization supports Mastercard’s global billing ecosystem by enabling accurate, complete, and timely billing outcomes across products, services, commercial arrangements, and customer-facing processes. The Revenue Systems team partners with business, operations, technology, finance, and product stakeholders to support Mastercard Consolidated Billing System (MCBS) capabilities, platform modernization, operational controls, and revenue enablement initiatives.
The Senior Business Analyst will support MCBS Billing initiatives by translating business needs into clear requirements, coordinating delivery across cross-functional teams, supporting production and operational issue resolution, and helping improve billing accuracy, scalability, transparency, and control readiness. This role requires a strong business analysis mindset, comfort working with complex system dependencies, and the ability to connect billing processes, data, technology, and stakeholder needs into practical solutions.
Role
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will:
• Partner with business, operations, product, finance, and technology stakeholders to gather, analyze, document, and validate requirements for MCBS Billing initiatives.
• Translate complex billing, order-to-cash, tax, pricing, customer setup, reporting, and operational needs into clear business requirements, functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and supporting documentation.
• Support MCBS-related projects, enhancements, controls, automations, integrations, and modernization efforts from intake through design, build, testing, implementation, and post-release stabilization.
• Work with technology teams to evaluate solution options, clarify system impacts, review designs, resolve open questions, and ensure delivered capabilities align with business objectives.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing, test planning, defect triage, release readiness, production validation, and implementation support for assigned initiatives.
• Research billing issues, production incidents, data discrepancies, and operational pain points; identify root causes, document impacts, and help define corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain project documentation, process flows, requirements artifacts, decision logs, issue/risk trackers, training materials, and operational procedures to support auditability and knowledge management.
• Use data, operational metrics, reporting outputs, and stakeholder feedback to identify improvement opportunities and support decision-making.
• Communicate status, risks, issues, dependencies, decisions, and next steps clearly to project teams, business partners, and leadership.
• Support continuous improvement across Revenue Systems by promoting standard intake practices, scalable requirements discipline, strong controls, and effective stakeholder alignment.
