We’relooking for a Senior Business Analystfor a fixed-term opportunity within our Digital and Technology team, supporting Anglicare's Integration Management Office (IMO) IT Workstream. This role focuses on capability discovery, business analysis and transformation planning across a large-scale merger and integration program, working with senior stakeholders to understand current state operations, define future state requirements and support strategic decision-making that enables successful business transformation.

Your opportunity

The Senior Business Analyst plays a pivotal role in supporting capability discovery and analysis across business and technology domains. Working across multiple business capabilities, you willfacilitatebusiness-led, technology-enabled decision-making to inform integration,transformationand roadmap outcomes. You will partner with senior business and technology stakeholders to analyse current state processes, define future state operatingrequirementsandprovidestructured insights that support architecture decisions,prioritisationand delivery planning.

You will be part of a high-profile integration and transformation program, leading workshops,facilitatingstakeholder alignment and translating business needs into clear recommendations, requirements and delivery inputs that support long-term organisationalobjectives


With ownership, you will:

Lead andfacilitatecapability-based workshops to assess processes, systems, data,risksand opportunities across business functions. In this role, you will not only gather,analyseand document business requirements, but alsofacilitatestrategic thinking to help shape long-term outcomes and directions for the organisation. You will support transformation decision-making and develop high-quality artefacts including process models, business cases, requirements documentation and solution recommendations. Working closely with business,architectureand delivery teams, you will contribute to roadmap development, solution design, testing,implementationand change activities while ensuring business outcomes, compliance requirements and transformationobjectivesare achieved.

What you’ll bring

You are a seasoned Senior Business Analyst with extensive experience in business and systems analysis, capabilitydiscoveryand stakeholder engagement within complex transformation environments. You have a proven ability tofacilitateworkshops, analyse business challenges, translate insights into actionable recommendations and support strategic decision-making across business and technology domains.

Your strengths include leading stakeholder discussions, navigating complex business processes and producing high-quality documentation that supports transformation outcomes. You are highly analytical, commerciallymindedand confident engaging with senior stakeholders tofacilitatealignment, evaluate options and drive informed decisions. You bring a curious mindset, challenge thestatus quoand excel in environments where collaboration, critical thinking and business value are key to success.

You will also need:

• 7+ years' experience in business and systems analysis with a proven record delivering successful business and IT projects
• Proven experience in capability discovery, requirements analysis and stakeholder engagement
• Strong workshop facilitation, stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
• Experience developing business cases, analysing options and supporting transformation decision-making
• Strong process modelling capability, including BPMN and end-to-end business process analysis
• Experience supporting solution design, testing, implementation, training and change activities
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Superior documentation and communication skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to facilitate complex decision-making and trade-off discussions with senior stakeholders
• Experience working within complex transformation, integration or merger programs preferred
• Experience working in agile environments and across multiple business domains
• A curious mindset with the ability to challenge existing approaches and identify opportunities for improvement

We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.

With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.

We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.
