We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Business Analyst.

Principal responsibilities:

1. Strong business analysis experience within technology delivery, with the ability to translate complex needs into clear, testable requirements.

2. Knowledge of market risk concepts and measures (for example: Value at Risk, sensitivities, stress testing) and how risk is used in a banking context.

3. Confidence working with data: understanding data lineage, defining data quality rules, and supporting reconciliation and control requirements.

4. Experience working in Agile delivery environments, including writing user stories and supporting backlog refinement.

5. Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to engage global stakeholders across business and technology in a clear, structured way.

6. Strong problem-solving skills, with a practical and analytical mindset for navigating ambiguity and balancing stakeholder needs.

7. Experience supporting testing and implementation activities, including UAT coordination and defect management.

8. Ability to work effectively across locations and time zones, contributing to a collaborative and inclusive team culture.

9. Fast learner with curiosity and a continuous improvement mindset, able to pick up new domains, tools and ways of working quickly.

10. Experience using analysis and delivery tools (for example: Jira, Confluence).

What additional skills will be good to have?

1. Familiarity with risk or finance platforms and data ecosystems (for example: risk engines, data warehouses, reporting layers).

2. Experience with query skills (for example: SQL).

3. Knowledge of AI and Machine Learning concepts, and experience identifying practical use cases (for example: automation, data quality monitoring, or intelligent alerting).

4. Ability to create simple user interface and user experience (UI/UX) prototypes (for example: wireframes or clickable mock-ups) to validate requirements and improve user journeys.

5. Certificate of PRM, FRM, CFA is great to have.

6. Fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese is nice to have.
