Senior Business Analyst
The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for understanding, documenting, and improving business processes across the Stop Loss value chain. The role serves as the link between business operations and product delivery, ensuring requirements, workflows, business rules, and operational needs are clearly understood and documented.
The Senior BA functions as a force multiplier for Product Management by reducing SME burden and creating reusable business knowledge assets.
What will you do
- Analyze and gather current-state business processes and identify inefficiencies, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
- Design future-state workflows, process maps, and optimized business solutions.
- Facilitate discovery sessions, collaborator interviews, and requirements workshops with SMEs and business leaders.
- Capture, define, and document detailed business requirements, including business rules, decision logic, and exception scenarios.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration and build consensus on process changes and solution approaches.
- Develop and handle UAT strategies, including test scenarios, scripts, and coordination with partners.
- Track defects, support issue resolution, and ensure successful release validation and business readiness.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, including requirements repositories, process artifacts, and traceability matrices.
- Support governance, audit, and compliance efforts while ensuring operational readiness
- Monitor success metrics such as requirements quality, stakeholder satisfaction, UAT effectiveness, defect leakage, and documentation completeness

Compensation
Salary Range: $72,700 - $121,000 plus eligibility for annual bonus program
Qualifications
Who you Are
- 5+ years Business Analysis experience
- Experience facilitating workshops and process design sessions
- Strong documentation and requirements skills
- Experience working with Agile delivery teams
- Insurance operations experience strongly preferred
