You will be part of a workplace where you feel you belong

RACV is continuing an exciting transformational journey that is revolutionising the way we work and the products and services we offer our members and customers into the future.

About the opportunity

Reporting to the BA Team Leader, the Senior Business Analyst (BA) plays a critical role within the Program Management Department.

As an experienced Senior BA, you will work across a diverse portfolio of initiatives spanning technology, digital, data, and business transformation. These initiatives are delivered through Agile squads and project-based delivery models (waterfall and hybrid), with impacts ranging from simple to highly complex across RACV.

The Senior BA will be engaged across the full delivery lifecycle, from Discovery through to Planning and Delivery including business transition, ensuring business needs are well understood, solutions are effectively shaped, and outcomes are successfully implemented.

You will collaborate closely with business and technology stakeholders to analyse, shape, and deliver solutions that enable strategic outcomes.

This could be just the right role for you

As a Senior BA, you’ll be the bridge between business and technology, proactively engaging stakeholders and driving outcomes. You’ll bring

  • Lead end-to-end business analysis activities, including scoping, planning, requirements elicitation, and process documentation across Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery environments.

  • Contribute to a range of strategic and operational initiatives, supporting technology, process, and business transformation outcomes.

  • Support data analysis and solution design, considering business rules, operational impacts, and dependencies across systems and services.

  • Conduct detailed stakeholder and impact analysis across processes, people, technology, and ways of working.

  • Map and design business processes, delivering clear current-state (as-is) and future-state (to-be) models.

  • Facilitate workshops to elicit business and technical requirements and translate them into structured, actionable outputs.

  • Define business metrics, acceptance criteria, and success measures to guide solution delivery and track outcomes.

  • Produce high-quality documentation, including business requirements, epics, user stories, process flows, and dependency mapping.

  • Develop user-facing artefacts, such as work instructions, guides, and training materials to support implementation.

  • Support transition to business-as-usual (BAU), ensuring smooth handover, operational readiness, and continuity.

You’ll also play an active role in the BA Practice, sharing insights, coaching others, and contributing to continuous improvement.

Who we’re looking for and what you’ll bring

You’ll thrive in a collaborative, people-centred organisation where members are at the heart of everything we do. You’ll bring:

  • 5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst (or similar) delivering complex, end-to-end technology and business transformation initiatives.

  • Experience - Exposure to regulated or enterprise environments, with an understanding of associated business processes, systems, products, or compliance requirements.

  • Delivery experience - Demonstrated experience performing business analysis across end-to-end initiatives, including requirements elicitation, stakeholder engagement, and supporting successful delivery outcomes.

  • Proven ability to work across the full delivery lifecycle - from discovery through to implementation and optimisation - designing scalable solutions, navigating complex stakeholder and system landscapes, and contributing to continuous improvement of processes and outcomes.

  • Strong capability across Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.

  • Experience translating business needs into clear, structured requirements that support the delivery of intuitive, accessible digital or technology solutions.

  • Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields (essential).

  • Experience working across complex enterprise or multi-system environments (advantageous).

  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
