Expected Compensation: The expected hiring range for this role is $81,600 - $102,000, with a 35-hour work week. Your rate of pay will be determined based on your individual qualifications and experience, while considering internal equity.

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will lead the evaluation and enhancement of business processes that support Westland’s long-term strategic goals. Working closely with stakeholders across the organization, you’ll help identify opportunities for improvement, define business and functional requirements, and collaborate with technical teams to deliver impactful, value-driven solutions. You’ll also play an important role in guiding initiatives from discovery through implementation, ensuring outcomes align with business objectives and deliver measurable results.

Why we’ll love you
• Minimum of 8 years of business analysis experience in complex, cross-functional environments
• You possess a bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, or a related field
Strong skills in business process analysis, requirements gathering, solution documentation, and process improvement
• Proven ability to lead discussions with stakeholders at all levels to gather, validate, and translate business needs into technical solutions Experience leading RFP processes, including vendor evaluation, requirements definition, and solution assessments
• Comfortable working in agile and DevOps environments with knowledge of SDLC, CI/CD practices, and cross-functional project delivery
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to bridge business and technical language effectively
• Highly analytical with strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver quality outcomes collaboratively
• Proficient in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, and Microsoft Office
Experience in insurance or financial services is a strong asset

• Analyze and improve business processes to align with organizational and strategic goals
• Collaborate with stakeholders, cross-functional teams, vendors, and partners to gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements
• Translate requirements into clear documentation, user stories, and actionable deliverables for technical teams and partners
• Support solution design, development, implementation, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business needs and deliver value
• Act as a liaison between business and technical teams to facilitate alignment, communication, and issue resolution throughout project delivery
• Monitor and assess the impact of implemented solutions and recommend opportunities for continuous improvement
• Support change management initiatives through training, documentation, and communication of new processes and tools
• Stay informed on business operations, systems, and industry trends to proactively identify opportunities for enhancement
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior Business Analysts
