Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage the product backlog, translating high-level requirements into clear user stories with defined acceptance criteria

  • Prioritize backlog items based on customer value, business goals, and technical feasibility while ensuring alignment with the product roadmap

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define clear, testable requirements and act as the voice of the customer within development teams

  • Serve as Product Owner in Agile/Scrum teams, leading sprint planning, backlog grooming, and acceptance of completed work

  • Provide ongoing guidance and decision-making support to ensure features meet quality standards and customer expectations

  • Work cross-functionally with R&D, QA, regulatory, and commercial teams to ensure seamless product development and delivery

  • Incorporate customer feedback and workflow understanding to drive usability improvements and feature enhancements

  • Ensure timely, high-quality releases by supporting validation, documentation, and readiness activities

Candidate Requirement:

Education: Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Life Sciences or related field

Mandatory Skills, Knowledge:

  • 10+ years of experience in Application Support, product development, product ownership or relevant fields.

  • Experience working with complex systems (hardware + software integration preferred)

  • Experience with life sciences instruments (sample prep, plate readers etc.)

  • Ability to translate customer needs into detailed technical requirements

  • Prior experience working with global, cross-functional teams

  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills
