Senior Business Analyst

Are you passionate about financial markets and complex data ecosystems? Do you enjoy taking ownership beyond analysis and actively shaping scalable data solutions? Are you curious about exploring the possibilities of AI? As a Senior Business Analyst in the Customer Experience domain, you will play a key role in the evolution of SIX Data Cloud and APIs. You act as a trusted expert and sparring partner for Product, Content, and Technology teams, ensuring that financial data is consistently modelled, aligned, and delivered across Strategic Deliveries. In this role, you combine deep domain expertise with strong analytical and conceptual skills.

What You Will Do

• own complex data analysis topics end‑to‑end, from initial exploration through formal and informal specification to implementation and validation across Cloud (Snowflake), APIs, and file‑delivery products
• design, evolve, and govern delivery data models with a strong focus on financial instruments, corporate actions, tax and regulation, including interface cross-consistency
• act as a senior sparring partner for Product Managers, Content Managers, and Technology teams, translating business and customer needs into robust, scalable data solutions
• drive and support cross‑team initiatives such as data standardization, migrations, interface alignment, and testing in an international setup
• proactively identify modelling or consistency risks and propose sustainable improvements

What You Bring

• extensive experience as a Business Analyst in financial markets / financial information (10 years), with a strong focus on data‑driven products
• understanding of the interaction of financial markets, security types and corporate actions
• proven expertise in data modelling, abstract and logical data models and cross‑interface consistency
• expertise in tools like SQL/Python (data analysis) and git/Gitlab (document management, collaboration)
• strong ability to work independently on complex topics, take end‑to‑end ownership, and drive outcomes in ambiguous environments
• fluent in English
