Senior Business Analyst (Sr. BA)

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support the launch of a new product team implementing a modern commercial forecasting platform to replace manual, Excel‑driven forecasting processes. This role will lead business discovery and requirements definition, translate complex forecasting workflows into clear and actionable requirements, and support successful platform adoption.

The Senior Business Analyst will work closely with forecasting, analytics, and delivery teams to ensure business needs are accurately captured, standardized, and implemented while permanent ownership roles are being onboarded.

Key Responsibilities

Business Discovery & Requirements Leadership

• Lead requirements elicitation with forecasting and analytics stakeholders to understand current‑state processes, challenges, and improvement opportunities
• Translate business needs into well‑defined epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Facilitate workshops to align stakeholders on forecasting assumptions, workflows, and reporting needs across brands and geographies

Process & Functional Analysis

• Document business and functional requirements, including process flows (as‑is / to‑be), functional specifications, and traceability artifacts
• Perform fit‑gap analysis between business requirements and platform capabilities; document decisions, constraints, and recommendations
• Support standardization of forecasting processes to reduce manual effort, reconciliation issues, and inconsistencies

UAT & Delivery Support

• Own UAT preparation and execution, including test scenarios, test data, defect triage, and business sign‑off
• Ensure requirements are testable, measurable, and aligned to delivery scope
• Support release readiness through documentation, validation, and stakeholder communication

Stakeholder & Vendor Collaboration

• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, delivery leadership, technical teams, and vendor partners
• Communicate requirements, decisions, risks, and dependencies clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences
• Support knowledge transfer and transition to incoming full‑time Business Analyst resources

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Senior Business Analyst / Business Systems Analyst delivering enterprise platforms or analytics solutions
• Strong expertise in requirements engineering, including user stories, acceptance criteria, process mapping, and functional documentation
• Proven experience supporting end‑to‑end UAT activities
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and rationalize complex, spreadsheet‑based business processes
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments
• Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills
