Job Description

The Senior Business Analyst serves as a key liaison between business stakeholders and IT, driving the analysis, design, and delivery of technology solutions that support Flowserve’s global operations. This role is responsible for leading complex requirement-gathering efforts, translating business needs into actionable technical specifications, and ensuring solutions deliver measurable business value.

The position requires strong analytical skills, stakeholder management experience, and excellent spoken and written English to collaborate effectively with global teams across regions and functions.

Your role:

Business & Technical Analysis

• Lead the elicitation, documentation, and validation of complex business and technical requirements across IT initiatives.
• Analyze current-state processes, identify gaps, and define future-state solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, and process flows.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, IT teams, and external vendors.
• Facilitate workshops, working sessions, and stakeholder reviews to drive alignment and decision-making.
• Communicate effectively with global stakeholders across multiple time zones and regions.

Solution Delivery & Support

• Partner with IT development, infrastructure, and service teams to ensure solutions are designed and implemented as intended.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) by defining test scenarios, validating outcomes, and coordinating feedback.
• Assist with deployment planning, change management, and post-implementation support.

Data & Reporting

• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI to provide actionable insights.
• Perform data validation, analysis, and interpretation using Excel, Power Query, SQL, or similar tools.

Process Improvement & Governance

• Identify opportunities to improve IT and business processes through automation, standardization, or optimization.
• Ensure alignment with Flowserve governance, compliance, and IT standards.
• Contribute to documentation standards, knowledge repositories, and best practices.

Your profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a Business Analyst or Senior Analyst role within IT or enterprise environments.
• Strong experience gathering and documenting complex business and technical requirements.
• Advanced proficiency with Power BI and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, data analysis).
• Experience working with ITSM and enterprise platforms (e.g., Freshservice, ServiceNow, ERP systems).
• Fluent English (spoken and written) required to support global stakeholders and leadership.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting global or regional IT organizations.
• Working knowledge of SQL, Power Query, or similar data analysis tools.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or SDLC methodologies.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) or large-scale enterprise applications.
• ITIL, CBAP, PMP, or similar certifications.
• Spanish fluency required; additional European languages a plus.
