Serve as a business systems professional responsible for identifying business requirements, process improvements, and technology solutions across multiple business functions and systems. Lead complex to highly complex initiatives by facilitating requirements gathering, business process analysis, solution design, testing, implementation support, and stakeholder alignment. Act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, driving business value through process optimization, system enhancements, business transformation initiatives, and effective partnership with business and technology teams.

Accountabilities:

• Business Analysis & Requirements Management – Lead and facilitate business requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders across multiple business functions. Translate business needs into functional, technical, process, and testing requirements. Create and maintain detailed business requirements documents, process flows, use cases, specifications, and supporting project documentation. Ensure alignment between business objectives and technology solutions.
• Solution Design & System Delivery – Partner with business and technology teams to design, develop, implement, and enhance business systems and processes. Support system development life cycle activities including solution analysis, design reviews, testing, implementation planning, and post-production support. May provide technical support, develop business-specific solutions, or support code development activities as needed.
• Problem Resolution & System Support – Analyze and resolve complex to highly complex business and system-related issues. Utilize analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills to identify root causes, assess impacts, evaluate alternatives, and recommend optimal solutions. Ensure timely, accurate, and responsive support to stakeholders while minimizing operational risk.
• Process Improvement & Business Transformation – Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, efficiency gains, and control improvements. Conduct process analysis and quality reviews to improve operational effectiveness and customer experience. Drive measurable business results through continuous improvement initiatives and implementation of best practices. Serve as a subject matter expert within assigned business domains.
• Leadership, Stakeholder Management & Mentoring – Build strong relationships with business leaders, project teams, and technology partners. Influence decision-making, facilitate stakeholder alignment, and provide guidance on business system solutions. Mentor junior analysts, support project teams, and may provide people leadership, coaching, performance feedback, and work direction when required.

Job Qualifications:

Education Required

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.

Experience Required

7+ years of progressively responsible business systems analysis, business process management, technology solution delivery, or related experience.

Demonstrated experience leading complex and highly complex business and technology initiatives.

Experience partnering with business stakeholders and technology organizations to deliver enterprise solutions

Certifications Preferred

• CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional)
• Agile/Scrum Certifications
• Relevant product, platform, or system certifications as applicable to the business area.

Required

• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify patterns, trends, and potential issues.
• Ability to translate business needs into functional, system, testing, and implementation requirements.
• Strong understanding of technology, systems architecture, and business processes.
• Experience performing business process analysis, requirements management, solution validation, testing, and implementation support.
• Ability to effectively manage the test lifecycle and ensure stakeholder alignment with delivered solutions.
• Strong written, verbal, facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships across departments and business functions.
• Experience delivering timely and accurate solutions to complex business and system problems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, competing deadlines, and changing business requirements.
• Ability to influence business and technology partners across all organizational levels

Preferred Qualifications

• Financial Services industry experience.
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Experience with business intelligence, reporting, automation, workflow solutions, and data analysis.
• Experience mentoring analysts or leading project workstreams.
• Experience serving as a business domain subject matter expert.
