Auckland Council’s Building Consent department has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Building Surveyor within the Project Assessment team. In this senior role, you will be instrumental in guiding and mentoring your team while ensuring the efficient processing of building consents for both residential and commercial applications. You'll play a vital part in shaping the quality of the built environment in Auckland, contributing to solutions for the city’s building shortage, all while fostering professional development within your team.

This role requires experience in similar positions, with a sound understanding of the building consent process and legislative requirements. You should possess excellent leadership skills and a strong ability to mentor staff, guiding them in their professional development. Your attention to detail and results-focused approach will help ensure that all consent applications are processed efficiently and effectively.

This role has a remuneration range of $102,595 - 108,630 (based on skills and experience)
Our employer Kiwisaver contribution is additional to base salary offered.
