This role provides an excellent platform for professional growth and mentorship within a dynamic brokerage environment.
  • Support senior brokers in the execution and facilitation of SOFR options trades across a diverse client base, including banks, hedge funds, and asset managers.
  • Maintain real‑time awareness of market flows, liquidity conditions, and pricing dynamics in SOFR options and related interest rate products.
  • Prepare and distribute market color, pricing runs, and trade axes to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Assist in managing order books, monitoring client interests, and ensuring accurate and timely communication between counterparties.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients through consistent, reliable, and informed interaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams—including compliance, operations, and technology—to ensure smooth trade processing and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to desk analytics, including volatility tracking, curve behavior, and relative‑value insights.
  • Continuously expand product knowledge and stay current on macroeconomic developments, monetary policy, and market structure changes impacting SOFR derivatives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in interest rate markets, derivatives, and macroeconomics.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • High attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and comfort working with data.
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a high‑pressure, time‑sensitive environment.
  • Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Bloomberg or similar platforms is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience on a bank trading desk—ideally within rates, options, or macro markets. This background provides a valuable foundation for understanding client needs, market structure, and trade mechanics.
  • Must possess an active and transferable book of business with established client relationships.
