SENIOR BRANDS FINANCE MANAGER – DACH & EUROPE

As our Senior Brands Finance Manager, you will act as the key Finance Business Partner to the DACH Brand teams while supporting the development of stronger Brand Finance capabilities across Europe. You will drive profitable growth through financial insight, performance management, strong governance, and strategic decision support.

THE ROLE

As our Senior Brands Finance Manager, you play a critical role in supporting brand growth, investment decisions, and profitability across DACH while contributing to selected European Finance initiatives. You will combine strategic business partnering with strong financial governance, helping Marketing and Commercial teams make data-driven decisions that maximize value creation.

You will report to the Commercial Finance Director Europe and partner closely with DACH Finance leadership.

1. Brand Finance & Business Partnership

• Act as Finance Business Partner to DACH Brand teams, supporting growth and profitability decisions.
• Provide financial guidance on investment priorities and brand performance.
• Partner with Marketing and Commercial stakeholders to ensure financially sound decision-making.
• Build strong relationships across Finance, Commercial, and Marketing communities.

1. Planning, Forecasting & Performance Management

• Prepare and challenge Brand P&Ls, Gate P&Ls, pricing assumptions, and ROI analyses.
• Own A&CP forecasting, tracking, and governance across Outlook, Profit Forecast, Annual Plan, and Strategic Planning cycles.
• Deliver variance analysis, risk and opportunity assessments, and gap-closing recommendations.
• Lead Annual Planning governance and coordinate stakeholder inputs across the business.

1. Pricing, Investment & Profitability

• Support pricing initiatives through financial impact assessments and performance tracking.
• Evaluate investment effectiveness and return on investment for marketing activities.
• Drive profitability improvements through fact-based recommendations.
• Ensure commercial decisions remain aligned with long-term business objectives.

1. Governance, Controls & Compliance

• Maintain strong governance standards across A&CP investments.
• Ensure compliance with SOX requirements and audit standards.
• Support audit documentation and external licensor audit requests.
• Drive financial discipline and transparency across the DACH brand portfolio.

1. European Brand Finance Initiatives

• Support selected European Brand Finance projects focused on consistency and transparency.
• Improve reporting quality, investment governance, and decision support across European markets.
• Develop harmonized templates, tools, and processes across markets.
• Drive improvements in A&CP visibility, ROI analysis, forecasting, and performance management.

YOU ARE A COTY FIT

As a commercially minded finance professional, you thrive in a business-partnering environment and enjoy influencing strategic decisions through strong financial insight.

Your skills and experience include:

• Strong Commercial Finance experience, ideally within Beauty, FMCG, or branded consumer businesses.
• Deep understanding of P&L management, A&CP, forecasting, planning, pricing, and ROI analysis.
• Proven ability to challenge senior Marketing and Commercial stakeholders constructively.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into business recommendations.
• Excellent stakeholder-management and communication skills.
• Collaborative approach and interest in driving best-practice sharing across European markets.
• Advanced financial modelling skills.
• Experience with Power BI, reporting tools, automation, or AI-enabled finance solutions is considered an advantage.
• Comfortable operating in a matrix organization with both local and regional responsibilities.
