In this role, you’ll work closely with a collaborative, high‑performing team, support a diverse client base, and play an important part in the day‑to‑day success of the firm. Position Responsibilities

  • General bookkeeping and data processing
  • Accounts payable & accounts receivable
  • Prepare BAS and other statutory returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Prepare and lodge payroll
  • Monthly and annual payroll tax returns
  • Prepare end-of-year income statement lodgements for clients
  • Perform monthly account reconciliations
  • Generate monthly and quarterly client reports using accounting software (Fathom/ Syft)
  • Provide support and assistance to the Head of Bookkeeping on various projects and initiatives
  • Utilise accounting software to prepare reports for clients as required
  • Effective communication with clients, both verbal and written
  • Work in tandem with Client Directors, Senior Managers and Partners and the broader team on projects to drive success for Kelly+Partners
  • Partake in company events, training sessions as well as team meetings

About You

  • Minimum of 3 – 4 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience in a public practice firm is highly desirable
  • Possess a Certificate IV in bookkeeping/accounting or a bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • Proven working experience with accounting software, specifically Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks, Hubdoc, Dext,
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Committed to providing exceptional service to our clients
  • Proactive, self-motivated and enthusiastic
