Job Description

A boutique firm serving wealth, yachting, and private clients is looking for a Senior Bookkeeper to manage accounting records and support the preparation of financial statements and management accounts.

This is an office-based role with a salary of up to €26K

Role & Responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger and post journals

• Reconcile bank and loan accounts

• Prepare management accounts and support trial balance transfers into financial statement templates

• Prepare trust and company accounts in compliance with legislation

• Compile working papers and supporting documentation for financial statements

• Assist auditors and perform annual review procedures for completed accounts

Education, Skills & Experience

• A Level in accounting

• 1+ years of experience in bookkeeping/accounting in Malta ( non-negotiable)

• Fluency in English at C2/native level, both written and spoken

• Excellent time management and ability to meet tight deadlines

• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset

• Good communication and problem-solving skills
