The Senior PMO Engineer will provide leadership in establishing and sustaining the Wind Blade Engineering Program Management Office (PMO) structure, governance framework, and standard work. This role is responsible for strengthening execution discipline, enabling prioritization, and improving visibility across Wind Blade Engineering. The position partners closely with Blade Engineering Functional Managers to align priorities, support resource allocation, and ensure effective delivery of critical engineering commitments.
● Establish and sustain Wind Blade Engineering PMO structures, frameworks, and standard work to support effective execution and governance.
● Partner with Blade Engineering Functional Managers to align priorities, capacity, and resource allocation across engineering initiatives.
● Lead the Wind Blade Engineering operations rhythm, including Daily Management meetings, ensuring alignment with broader Wind Engineering operating processes and critical deliverables.
● Own fiscal year budget planning through the SII process, including NPI, NTI, and Services project portfolios.
● Coordinate with Systems Project Managers to ensure appropriate allocation of OPEX budget and headcount to projects.
● Develop and maintain PMO reporting, metrics, and dashboards to provide transparent visibility into project status, risks, dependencies, and milestone achievement.
● Support project governance forums through agenda preparation, meeting facilitation, action tracking, and follow-up on decisions and escalations.
● Drive standardization and continuous improvement of PMO processes, tools, and routines.
● Serve as a key cross-functional partner to Engineering, Finance, Operations, and Systems teams to enable alignment and accountability.
● Communicate risks, constraints, and resource needs clearly to stakeholders and leadership.
● Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related discipline.
● Minimum of 7 years of experience in PMO, project management, program management, or engineering operations.
● Demonstrated experience developing or sustaining PMO governance, reporting, and standard work.
● Strong financial planning and budgeting experience, including annual operating planning and project allocation.
● Proven ability to influence across functional boundaries and work effectively in a matrixed organization.
● Excellent organizational, communication, facilitation, and analytical skills.
● Experience preparing executive-level updates and managing multiple priorities in a complex environment.
● Experience in Wind Engineering, Blade Engineering, or a related technical/industrial environment.
● Familiarity with NPI, NTI, and Services project portfolios.
● Experience with OPEX planning, headcount allocation, and resource management.
● Knowledge of portfolio management tools, reporting systems, and operational cadence routines.
● Demonstrated ability to establish standard work and improve organizational execution.
● PMP, CAPM, or comparable project management certification.
