Job Description

Facilitate and manage the efficient production of design documentation and Building Information Models (BIM) for structural projects, ensuring alignment with project deliverables, WSP standards, and digital engineering workflows.

This position is critical to maintaining BIM delivery capability within the Adelaide Structures team and coordinating with the Manila drafting team.

Key responsibilities

  • Comply with all rolespecific SHEQ obligations as outlined in the relevant RACI matrix.

  • Ensure documentation meets WSP quality standards and project requirements.

  • Follow procedures set out in The Way and the WSP Quality System for all projectrelated work.

  • Set up and manage Revit models appropriate for effective design communication and coordination.

  • Participate in and lead Revit modelling of building structures to WSP’s required standards.

  • Produce clear, accurate and coordinated documentation, including plans, sections, elevations, reinforcement detailing, precast documentation, and general arrangements.

  • Facilitate designer interaction with BIM models for both data input and information extraction.

  • Identify, communicate, and lead the resolution of project coordination issues.

  • Liaise with Project Leaders, engineers and external parties to support planning and delivery of BIMrelated project tasks.

  • Assist with design coordination, including multidiscipline model integration where required.

  • Liaise with Project Leaders to identify and mitigate risks related to BIM deliverables.

  • Coordinate BIM and documentation resources internally and with the Manila team.

  • Engage with clients and external stakeholders when required to demonstrate BIM capability and thought leadership.

  • Engage with regional BIM leaders to support the development and enhancement of workflows, templates, content and processes.

  • Contribute to the development of CAD/BIM tools for the business as required.

  • Participate in training and knowledgesharing activities, proactively developing skills in relevant disciplines.

About you

  • Associate Diploma or Diploma in Drafting, Engineering Design, or equivalent work experience.

  • Additional BIM/Revit training or certification is desirable.

  • Knowledge and experience in modelling building structures, with demonstrated skills in modelling reinforced concrete, precast concrete, and structural steel elements.

  • High proficiency in Revit with strong skills in producing structural documentation for reinforced concrete, precast concrete and structural steel elements.

  • General understanding of multidiscipline constraints and constructability considerations.

  • Ability to adhere to production schedules and deliver accurate documentation.

  • Strong written and verbal communication capabilities.

  • Demonstrated ability to work within multiple teams, including offshore support teams.

  • Ability to balance innovation, quality and technical excellence with project timelines and budget.

  • High level of selfawareness and ability to maintain a professional image.

  • Demonstrated enthusiasm for learning and developing technical skills relevant to the discipline.
