Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior BIM to join our team!

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Develop and maintain detailed digital models using Building Information Modeling (BIM) software to support project delivery, coordination, quality, and compliance requirements.
  • Provide input to task leads for the development of BIM implementation baseline schedules at the beginning of project activities.
  • Utilize BIM software and digital workflows to develop, manage, coordinate, and maintain project models.
  • Lead the preparation, review, and execution of BIM implementation and management plans at program and project levels.
  • Perform quality reviews and audits to ensure BIM accessibility, model integrity, and data accuracy.
  • Prepare model assurance reports and support the development of digital engineering requirements, special provisions, and procurement documentation.
  • Review project models to ensure compliance with project standards, BIM requirements, and delivery objectives.
  • Support project teams and clients by responding to BIM-related queries and providing technical guidance.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of BIM Execution Plans (BEP), including standards, procedures, workflows, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective model coordination and integration across project disciplines.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and project stakeholders on BIM-related requirements and deliverables.
  • Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and support to junior BIM team members and review their deliverables.
  • Support the development and delivery of BIM training materials and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Provide advisory support to project leadership, engineering teams, and production staff on BIM processes and digital delivery practices.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in BIM, digital engineering, design technology, or related fields.
  • Advanced proficiency in BIM software, digital engineering workflows, and model management practices.
  • Strong understanding of BIM principles, standards, model development, and digital project delivery requirements.
  • Experience with Common Data Environments (CDEs) and digital collaboration platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of BIM and CDE systems such as ProjectWise, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), or similar platforms.
  • Understanding of Task Information Delivery Plans (TIDP) and Master Information Delivery Plans (MIDP).
  • Experience developing and managing BIM content, including families, parametric components, libraries, catalogues, and assemblies.
  • Knowledge of Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes related to BIM deliverables.
  • Strong understanding of hardware and software requirements supporting BIM and CAD environments.
  • Ability to generate reports, monitor KPIs, and support digital delivery performance tracking.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience providing technical guidance, mentoring, and support to project teams.

  • Knowledge of digital delivery standards and industry best practices.
  • Experience supporting BIM implementation strategies and enterprise-level digital transformation initiatives.
