Are you ready to discover the role of a Senior BI Engineer in Netcompany?

As a Senior BI Engineer you will:

• Design & Build BI Solutions: Develop robust and scalable reporting solutions using Power BI / Tableau , with a strong focus on data modeling and best practices in DAX and report design.
• Leverage Power BI Premium, Azure Services, Tableau
• Data Modeling Expertise: Design and implement efficient semantic models, including star/snowflake schemas, calculated measures, and relationships, to support self-service and enterprise reporting.
• Project Ownership: Take end-to-end responsibility for BI deliverables within the project, from requirement gathering and design to implementation, documentation, and performance tuning.
• Domain Awareness: Understanding of the energy sector’s business processes and KPIs and translate requirements into meaningful, domain-aligned reports and dashboards.

Qualifications

What would make you a fit for the role:

• Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years in business intelligence or data engineering, with expertise in designing and delivering enterprise-scale data solutions
• Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in Power BI and Tableau, including dashboard development, DAX, Power Query, and advanced visualization. Experience with Power BI Premium, Azure services, and SQL.
• Data Modeling: Solid understanding of dimensional modeling and data warehousing principles for building governed and performant data solutions.
• Project Execution: Capable of owning BI workstreams from requirement gathering to delivery and documentation.
• Communication & Collaboration: Effective communicator able to interact with stakeholders, gather requirements, and present results.
• Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data trends and propose actionable insights.
• Professional Attributes: Demonstrates ownership, curiosity, willingness to learn, and a solution-oriented approach. Committed to continuous learning and staying current with BI and data engineering technologies and best practices.

It would also be a plus if you match some of the following:

• Business Acumen: Awareness of core business processes and KPIs of the energy/finance/retail sector.
• Consulting: Experience in a consulting firm or client-facing role is considered a strong asset, especially where BI solutions were delivered in dynamic, multi-client environments.
