All about the role:

We’re hiring a Senior Software Engineer who’s passionate about clean architecture, data performance, and building systems that just keep running

At Electrolux, our Product Information Management (PIM) platform is the single source of truth for product data: powering e‑commerce sites, retailer feeds, marketplaces, service portals, and internal apps across the world. Think high‑throughput imports, rules‑driven enrichment, airtight data quality, and dependable distribution to every downstream consumer.

Your mission
Build and evolve robust, high‑performance data services and ETL pipelines that keep product data accurate, fast, and available. You’ll be the primary owner for SQL Server development, performance tuning, and operational reliability, while also contributing to NET backend services and APIs that move product data wherever it needs to go, securely and at scale.

What you'll do:

  • Design and implement SQL solutions (SQL Server, Azure SQL): tables, indexes, views, stored procedures, and triggers (T‑SQL).

  • Design, implement, and operate backend services and APIs in .NET (C# /.NET), including background/worker services for data processing.

  • Own performance tuning: query plan analysis, indexing strategies, partitioning, statistics management, and resource governance.

  • Build and operate ETL/ELT pipelines using SSIS and Azure data services; ensure idempotency, observability, and error handling.

  • Develop and maintain SSRS reports and data models with version control and release processes.

  • Design scalable data architectures with good knowledge of Azure cloud services.

  • Implement data quality checks, auditing, alerts, monitoring and recovery/runbooks.

  • Collaborate via Azure DevOps/Jira on requirements, slicing, and incremental delivery; contribute to documentation in Confluence.

  • Participate in CI/CD for data assets and database changes (migrations, scripts, approvals, automated tests).

  • Support production operations and continuous improvements.

Who are you:

  • University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related subjects preferred.

  • 10+ years of work experience building applications.

  • Backend .NET: Proven experience building and operating .NET

  • Microsoft SQL Server Development & Optimization (performance tuning) and Azure SQL experience.

  • Strong T SQL skills: stored procedures, functions, views, triggers; transactional integrity and locking/concurrency understanding.

  • SSIS development (packages, configurations, orchestration, error handling, logging).

  • SSRS development (datasets, parameters, subscriptions, deployment).

  • Data architecture design (staging/core/marts), ETL pipeline development, and data modeling fundamentals.

  • Experience with Azure DevOps and working in an Agile setup (Jira/Confluence).

Desirable

  • CLR integration for specialized SQL Server workloads.

  • NoSQL experience (e.g., Cosmos DB, MongoDB, Redis) and Graph databases.

  • Exposure to Azure Data Factory/Synapse, Data Lake, and modern ELT patterns.

  • Experience with PIM/DAM domains, workflows and content modeling.

Soft Skills

Ownership mindset, clear communication with technical and non‑technical stakeholders, strong documentation habits, attention to detail, collaborative problem‑solving, mentoring attitude, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Where you'll be:

This is a full-time position, based in Bangalore, India

Benefits Highlights:

  • Flexible work hours and a hybrid work environment

  • Discounts on our award-winning Electrolux products and services

  • Family-friendly benefits

  • Extensive learning opportunities and a flexible career path,
