Position Title: Senior Backend Developer

Location: LATAM

What you will be doing:
We are seeking a Senior Backend PHP/Laravel Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and integrations that support critical business operations. The ideal candidate has extensive experience building robust backend systems in PHP/Laravel, integrating third-party platforms, and working with eCommerce and warehouse management solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of backend software development experience.
• Strong backend development experience with a framework-agnostic mindset with PHP/Laravel (preferred) and/or Python
• Proven experience designing and implementing integrations with third-party applications and external APIs.
• Deep understanding of integration patterns, data mapping, synchronization strategies, error handling, and monitoring.
• Experience working with MySQL or other relational databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or Oracle.
• Experience with synchronization strategies, error handling, and monitoring
• Experience building middleware solutions or integration layers
• Experience integrating Shopify or other eCommerce platforms.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, webhooks, authentication mechanisms, and data transformation.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a collaborative environment.

Nice to Have Skills

• Python (PHP/Laravel selected)
• Experience working with EDI standards and business-to-business data exchange processes.
• Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Hands-on experience with Deposco or similar fulfillment, logistics, or supply chain platforms.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with message queues, asynchronous processing, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience in eCommerce, retail, logistics, or supply chain domains.
