This role is focused on designing and buildingplatform‑independentmiddleware services, exposing device capabilities throughGraphQLand REST APIs, and collaborating closely withcross‑functionalengineering and product teams.
Responsibilities
Design and implement platform‑independentdevice communication middlewarefor connected audio and networking products
Develop backend services using Node.js and TypeScriptin an agile,cross‑functionalteam environment
Implement device communication business logic in Node.js and C++
Expose middleware functionality through GraphQLand REST APIs
Model, standardize, and abstract device interaction capabilities to provide device‑agnosticinterfaces
Optimizemiddleware performance and implementappropriate securitymeasures
Break down requirements and estimates to deliver features from concept to production
Collaborate with marketing, testing, and systems engineering teams to define use cases and requirements
Communicate effectively with technical andnon‑technicalstakeholders
As needed, extend ormaintainweb‑basedUI componentsusing Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
Technical Requirement
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Scienceor related field
5+ years of professional software development experience
Strong experience as a Node.js backend developerwith a focus on TypeScript
Hands‑onexperience designing and documenting asynchronous Web APIs
Experience authoring and consuming GraphQLand/or REST APIs
Solid understanding of:
Asynchronous programming
Distributed systems
OS fundamentals andmulti‑threading
Software design principles (SOLID, separation of concerns, cohesion vs coupling)
Experience with:
CI/CD pipelines
Unit and Integration Testing
Git or similar version control systems
Comfortable working in a remote‑firstor hybrid environment
Nice to Have
Experience with distributed systems
Domain experience with audio products or wireless/radio devices
C++ development experience(OO or functional)
Embedded ordevice‑levelsoftware development
Experience with single‑pageapplications(Angular, React, Vue.js)
Experience with serverless cloud environments (AWS preferred)
