What Youll Do

• Build and scale backend services using Python, Go, or Node.js

• Contribute to full-stack features with TypeScript + React where applicable

• Design APIs, real-time pipelines, and distributed systems for production workloads

• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver end-to-end solutions

• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code

• Influence architecture, tooling, and best practices in a fast-growing startup environment

• Leverage AI-assisted development tools like Cursor to speed up workflow

What Were Looking For

• 4+ years of experience as a backend or full-stack engineer

• Strong in Python, Go, or Node.js

• Familiarity with frontend frameworks (React/TypeScript) is a plus

• Experience in VC-backed startups or scale-ups

• Comfortable with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)

• Strong fundamentals: distributed systems, APIs, databases

• Collaborative, self-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-moving startup environment

Bonus Points

• Experience in fintech, payments, or AI-assisted tooling

• Exposure to event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Pub/Sub)

• Experience contributing to developer tooling or internal frameworks

• Interest in using Cursor or other AI coding tools

• Prior scale-up experience with high-growth products
