We are hiring a Senior Backend Engineer with infrastructures orientation for our Speed team

About The Role

The Speed team owns two things: deployment of the Airis platform - both our SaaS environment and on-prem installations and the infrastructure that runs Airis applications and data pipelines in production.

As a Senior Backend Engineer on the team, you will build and operate what ships a mission critical AI solution to production in both worlds, and what keeps it running: CI/CD, environments, orchestration, and the systems side of our pipelines. We are looking for an executor with strong architecture and design skills: someone who thinks and plans before coding, and then delivers.

Requirements

Qualifications

• You have at least 5 years of hands-on Backend Engineering focusing on areas like infrastructures, CI/CD, observability, data pipelines and systems/deploy side.
• You have built infrastructure that other engineers and systems depend on, and delivered it to completion - and you're comfortable contributing application code when needed.
• You have experience describing, analyzing and proposing solutions with respect to SW deployment/production architecture.
• You have experience operating and troubleshooting production systems.
• You have experience developing and supporting industrial code in Python.

Nice to have

• Experience with data pipeline orchestration frameworks
• Experience with GCP/GKE and observability stacks (e.g. Grafana, Loki)
• You have experience with IaC tools (such as TerraformOpenTofu) and containerized environments (Kubernetes).
