Senior Backend Engineer

What You Will Do

• Design and implement scalable backend systems using Python and NodeJS to support AI-driven document OCR processes.
• Manage containerized applications with Kubernetes and Docker, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Utilize Terraform for infrastructure as code, enabling rapid deployment and management of cloud resources.
• Optimize PostgreSQL databases for performance and reliability, handling large volumes of data efficiently.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define and refine product requirements and technical specifications.
• Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, implementing best practices for continuous improvement.
• Contribute to code reviews and mentor junior engineers to foster a culture of excellence and innovation.

Ideal Candidate Background

• 3–8 years of experience in backend engineering, with a strong focus on Python and cloud technologies.
• Proficient in container orchestration with Kubernetes and experience with Docker.
• Solid understanding of infrastructure as code principles, particularly using Terraform.
• Experience with relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL, and optimizing data workflows.
• Familiarity with NodeJS and TypeScript for backend development.

Preferred

• Experience working in AI or Devtools industries, particularly in enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and API design principles.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.

Compensation and Benefits
