What You Will Do
- Design and implement scalable backend systems using Python and PostgreSQL to support enterprise-level applications.
- Develop and maintain REST APIs to ensure seamless integration with frontend components and third-party services.
- Optimize data workflows utilizing Airflow for efficient data processing and analysis.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features and enhancements in a timely manner.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in software development and architecture.
- Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, ensuring high availability and reliability of services.
Ideal Candidate Background
- 5+ years of experience in backend engineering with a strong focus on Python and PostgreSQL.
- Proven experience in developing and maintaining scalable cloud-based applications, preferably using AWS.
- Familiarity with modern frontend technologies such as React and TypeScript.
- Experience with data orchestration tools like Airflow and knowledge of RESTful API design principles.
Preferred
- Experience in the financial services or fintech industry, with an understanding of enterprise infrastructure needs.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Compensation and Benefits
The base salary for this role ranges from $180K to $220K, complemented by equity options between 0.5% and 0.8%. This company offers a collaborative work environment with opportunities for professional growth and development.
